Jina started her real estate career in 1994, while attending Columbia College with studies in Marketing and Design. She quickly began buying and renovating distressed properties in neighborhoods such as Wicker Park, Pilsen, and Logan Square. She purchased her first property, a multi-unit commercial building in need of total repair, in Wicker Park in 1996. As an early adopter, she saw the huge potential of the area. She resided in Wicker Park for 10 years before moving to Logan Square.
Her specialty is helping homeowners and investors re-imagine, re-configure, & renovate existing structures. By combining the love of real estate and having a strong belief in environmental conservation, she works in conjunction with a staff of professional contractors and builders to restore structures and bring them to their best use. She and her team have extensive knowledge of various building methods with an emphasis on sustainability. They often find creative ways to build using reclaimed materials and always seek to employ eco-friendly building practices. With over 20 years working in real estate sales, her experience ranges from single family homes, 2-4 units, condominiums, new construction, mixed-use buildings, multi-family property, single-tenant commercial spaces, industrial and vacant land. Jina has helped numerous buyers and investors acquire and sell foreclosure properties as well. As a seasoned investor with extensive experience in residential and commercial management, she can advise with any question, process or situation that presents itself.
Jina and her husband, McKinley have lived in Logan Square for over 12 years. They share their building with daughter, Joyce, and puppies Che, KoKo and Luna, the most beloved pitties ever! When Jina is not in the field, you can find her practicing yoga or cooking for her family, friends and puppies. She is a proud member of the Chicago Association Of Realtors, CAR, Asian Real Estate Association Of America, AREAA and The American Society for the Prevention Of Cruelty to Animals, ASPCA.
